You may have noticed dotted around the site we have a new blog sponsor. They are Blue Inc. and they actually have nationwide stores all around the country. These are the people that help to keep this site free to read, and allow me to make it the best it can possibly be, so I am sure we are ALL very grateful for that – I know I am! So who exactly are Blue Inc? Well you are about to find out as I give them the FashionBeans treatment!
Blue Inc specialise in the lower cost clothing range – especially for the younger audience. As I have said before, fashion is not all about the labels, it is about finding the right items that will make up a LOOK. Not all of us can afford high end luxury designer brands, so we have to make our budget spread further whilst still getting the most style we can for our money. This is especially true with the economy being how it is at the moment. Low cost doesn’t also mean low quality however – the company still cater to the “in” trends each season, and the items are constructed well to last a long time.
You may have remembered in the Modern Dandy piece I wrote that just having a couple of expensive investment items will really make ANY outfit come alive. The rest can be built up with lower cost items to pad out your wardrobe in order to create multiple looks quickly and easily. I never spend a fortune on plain tees and layering items because there really is no point when the rest of the outfit is what catches the eye.
You might want a particular lightweight scarf for a great new look you want to try out (coloured jeans anyone) in which case spend £6 on a decent version and throw it on… I guarantee you when the rest of the outfit coordinates and is layered up so well, no-one would bat an eye lid. It is about the overall look not the individual items. This is where a lot of men get confused because they buy amazing (and expensive) single items not knowing how the HELL to put them all together. Normally they think throwing on their expensive individual pieces all together makes them fashionable – NEWS FLASH – it doesn’t in the slightest! I bet I could put together an outfit under £100 that looks 10 times better than your local rich boy with his mish mash of designer items.
Back to Blue Inc. Like I said there are stores nationwide, and obviously they have a great website where you can buy brands like: Life and Glory, Twisted Soul, NY, No Excess and their own range of items. I am going to show you today some of their items in the new in range that could possibly go in your wardrobe. They will normally be quite plain as I love basic pieces that you can use to pad out layering options. I will also put the price because a lot of things are just a plain bargain.
Blue Inc will kit you out whether you’re travelling abroad for a lad’s weekend, would like a new season fashion fix, want to show off the latest trends or simply just to look the part for work. We sell easy mix ‘n’ match stuff where you can rustle up a great individual look.
We have racks of urban utility wear that won’t live at the back of your wardrobe!
