Men’s Clothes – This Week’s Picks

I have just got back from a heavy stag weekend yesterday evening… so today for some light relief I’m going to do my men’s fashion picks. Some browsing from the new collections around the web is a perfect way to start the day, and I’ll show you some new items that I either like, think you will like, or are just key pieces for the new season.

As we have been mentioning for weeks now, these new collections are the Autumn/Winter releases in anticipation for the new season. For those that are into their fashion, you should always be thinking ahead for the new season – knowing what looks you want to rock and the items you need in order to pull it off. This allows you to get hold of the best items before they sell out, and will give your wardrobe more structure… knowing you can pull pieces together quickly for any situation.

So here we go…

Men’s Fashion Picks

All Saints
Some great new stuff coming out at the moment at All Saints consisting of some great new check shirts, over shirts and graphic print t-shirts. They also do accessories really well so look out for some great new scarves, belts and hats within the coming weeks.

MyWardrobe
These are fast becoming my favourite shop and no-one else is releasing so much great stuff for the new season yet. Every great designer you can think of is catered for and the buyers of the menswear there are really picking some eye catching and amazing quality pieces. Look for some beautiful knitwear, bags, polo’s and jackets which are perfect for the new season. The new jackets being released are lightweight and have a more sporty feel to them. I have seen a few of the old school college bomber jackets recently which we should keep an eye on because this might develop into a bit of an underground trend for the new season. The women have just gone through a pretty big Sports Luxe trend so we might have a similar turn.

By the way I LOVE the denim trainers I have featured at the bottom – I must have these in my life.

Oki-Ni
We are going to dip into the world of high fashion courtesy of the Oki-Ni latest releases. If you ever want custom or limited edition pieces then you need to visit here immediately. Another baseball jacket… watch this space.

TopMan
Like I mentioned yesterday, military is going to be big over the coming season and the military coat below is a good example of it at a great price (£80). I am going to let you in on a little secret now… cords should be absolutely MASSIVE over this coming season and it’s good to see Topman step up to the plate early with a more fashion edge skinny pair. Rock these first and make sure everyone knows you were there before the crowd.

Matches Fashion
These are retailers of the premium high end menswear designers. Paul Smith, Lavin, Jil Sander, Prada, Bottega Veneta and the like are all here with some great new pieces which come at a more premium price. Take a look at the quality of the items below though and pick up some investment pieces. This is a great place to shop for work and formal wear – pick up some amazing crisp new trousers or a shirt which is guaranteed to stand out compared to the lower end versions available.

Personally I love those grey trousers, and the colour of that Paul Smith plum shirt is just amazing. The dress boots would look great in a modern formal outfit like – pair of trousers, a shirt, skinny tie, piece of chunky knitwear and boots to round it out.
