Each year all of the fashion designers, magazines, blogs etc. all try to pick out new fashion trends and predict where the industry is heading especially for the first half of the year. We are no different here at Fashionbeans and so over the next couple of weeks we are going to provide you with some red hot predictions about what you should be wearing RIGHT NOW in order to get there before everyone else!

Yup one of my favourite mens fashion trends from the end of last year continues strongly into the new year. Windbreakers are perfect for Spring/Summer and even winter if worn over a nice chunky cardigan or knit.
As the spring and summer rolls around we should see an increase in extreme lightweight windbreaker jackets mainly in nylon and with some excellent bright colours to go with it! I already have a brown and a black lightweight nylon windbreakers from my winter collection so will definately be pushing the boundaries in the coming months with some much bolder prints. Examples below….
Nom De Guerre Anti Exposure Anorak
Alife x Penfield Tech Windrunner
Another trend that has carried over well are checks and plaid. If you didn’t get on the lumberjack wagon at the end of last year I would definately recommended you hop aboard now! Another of my favourite fashion trends of the moment are the thicker large checked shirts which look great on their own with jeans or upsized to create an amazing jacket effect (with a little use of layering of course!).
High contrast is the order of the day for the new year, with bold colours that stand out (please dont go for white and grey checks!) – Think dark red with blue, or greens with yellows etc. Again we have some brilliant examples below…
