As we turn our back on something quite special, we open the door to something even more spectacular. Without time for a pause or a breather, FashionBeans with the help of Oki-ni is blazing full throttle into the new year with new collections from some quite inspirational designers! We here at Fashion Beans have always loved Rick Owens and RAF Simons clothes and some of their new pieces available are truely amazing. Take a look at the brand new Rick Owens and RAF Simons in the full post (with Pictures!!!)…
The 4th season of Rick Owens and this collection is as strong and dramatic as ever. They have pieces from the Dark Shadow and Mainline Strutter collections following a monochrome theme with bleached out tones and the use of luxury fabrics such as lambs leather, silk mixes and washed cotton.
Born and raised in California, Rick Owens now oversees his line in Paris which is now manufactured out of Italy. Owens’ own line remains true to his aesthetic: Minimalist palettes, dramatic structure. Though he’s often labeled as Goth by the press, Owens considers himself more of a “drama queen,” though not in an obvious way. “My look is about an appreciation of teenage angst without actually having the angst.”
The latest offering from industry innovator Raf Simons has landed. Renowned worldwide for discreet luxury and minimal embellishment with a street wear twist – the most recent collection from fashion’s favourite Belgian is no exception.
The pragmatic designer has produced boxy, utilitarian silhouettes, sleek textures and a monochromatic palatte with just a hint of geek chic. Luxe accessories embody the Raf Simons ethos; discreet, sleek and ultra desirable – enough to satisfy the fashion nerd in any of us.
