So another week and another round-up from yours truly about what has been going on that we have missed in our articles. It’s like your Sunday paper but without it being the weekend and not on paper. Topman Check and Plaid Hoodies

Topman have released a great new range of worker wear which as we all know, is this season’s biggest trend. These new check and plaid garments are all hooded varieties of shirts, which adds a great twist on the traditional items you can pick up right now. These have a much more relaxed and casual feel to them even though they are shirts, and would be great for layering up with a great graphic tee underneath and leather jacket over the top. Pick a bright bold colour to really make it the focal point of your outfit and pair with some great dark slim fit denim. Sorry about images, they do not like being shrunk that small obviously!

All Saints Leather Shirts

I was looking through the All Saints latest releases this week and noticed they have added some leather shirts with a check print?! Now I have never seen leather printed on like this before, and they are bound not to have them in my local store because so I was wondering if anyone had seen them and what they thought of them? I love the whole worker wear trend and I love leather jackets as well, but a mix? I am not so sure. They are slim fitting and could be worn nice and fitted with a simple tee underneath for an effortless look which should look still have an edge. There are also a few new pieces shown below that have come out this week:

MyWardrobe Outfit of the Week and Offer

So here we are again with the outfit of the week from MyWardrobe. On my suggestion this week we have used a roll neck piece of knitwear from Velour as I wrote an article last week about how it is becoming a bit of a trend through knitwear this season. This mixes the chunky knitwear trend (with old school print) with the roll neck cut to create an item that will be the focal point along with the boots.

We added a great officer’s coat from Burberry in a dark black that is just PERFECT for the winter season, and will smarten up any outfit in an instant. Really touches on the whole military trend along with the boots. The jeans are also slim fit and dark by Nudie which tones down the rest of the outfit so that the two key pieces really shine here. A Sophisticated and easy to put together look that works really well for the sophisticated gentleman on a dress down day.

Urban Outfitters – Cheap Monday Range

Cheap Monday seemed to come out of nowhere a few years back to produce what a lot of people in the fashion circles call the perfect skinny jeans. The reason being is that they created a bang on trend item for just ridiculous value. Their jeans come in around the £45 mark so it was easy for all the rocker boys to go out and pick up multiple pairs in multiple washes. They have just released their new range to Urban Outfitters and they seem to be as good as ever – there are even a great pair of black skinny chinos below which I love as well.

ASOS Chunky Knitwear

ASOS have just launched their chunky knitwear category and there has never been a better time to pick up a great knit for the ‘true’ winter period. They have over 76 varieties online from a massive array of designing talent. Here are some showcase items below for you to take a look through and see if you like. It is a massive trend this year, and one of my favourite looks is to over size and use the knitwear as a makeshift coat – obviously please make sure it is not going to rain if you do this! We do not want to spoil out beautiful fabrics! But you can then layer underneath with tees and shirts in order to create a great variation on the standard winter look. Match with some edgy fingerless or cuff gloves to really set it all off.
