It’s that time of week again where I bring to you a personal collection of items from around the major retailers on the Internet. You can love them or hate them, just feel free to tell us all why in the comments. This is one of my favourite stories to write each week as it basically just gives me an excuse to look at all the new stuff in at the moment and worry about how I am going to afford it all!
As usual this will be all new stuff which has very good stock at the time of writing. Hopefully you will spot something you like or that inspires a new look for you. I will try and feature high and low priced items, from a variety of stores. I normally pick from around 4-5 stores and don’t just base it on my personal preference in order to get a good variety of high quality fashion items.
They have been drip feeding us stuff for the last few weeks whilst the sale winds down and I am becoming more and more impatient for the new range now. They have released some great military style jackets and a LOT of new plaid/checked shirts which seems to reinforce the fact that they will again be massive this year in men’s fashion. The early hoodies and new knitwear concentrate on varied cuts and funnel necks which is a nice change to the standard pieces other’s release. The have a slightly relaxed roll neck type feel to them which I have seen from a lot of other major designers on the catwalk previews.
MyWardrobe have been stocking hundreds of new items recently with ranges from some of the biggest and most premium designers on the planet. Again there are some check shirts and plaid designs in there so seems to be a continued theme that will only get stronger again. There is a lot of stripes present and colour blocking throughout the designer knitwear, so this will also be something to look out for. It’s a more subtle form of nautical which continues on from the Spring/Summer big trend. I really struggled today picking these items because there are literally SO MANY in right now that I think would be great additions to anyone’s wardrobe.
Check out some of the jackets, blazers and waistcoats they have in… truly sublime! I tried to do a mix below for everyone’s tastes.
I haven’t featured Topman much before so I dropped the ball there a bit. These guys to me have improved drastically over the last 2-3 years and have started to become one of the leaders in getting the newest trends out to men who want competitively priced clothing. Great for true “fashion” pieces which will really make an impact. The introduction of premium ranges and some new labels have expanded their range and reach within the UK. So today I am going through their new range hopefully picking out a wide variety of items and styles which you will find interesting. Had to include the coloured jeans again didn’t I really!
Another Shop which has really been throwing out the new collections recently. This stuff is a lot more high fashion than some of the stuff above, but they do amazing limited edition pieces, and stock the usual premium designer brands. I have found some great formal wear and gentleman’s clothes within the new range. There seems to be a lot of greys and browns available which I love and are break from the traditional blacks and whites. Add a few splashes of each colour to your wardrobe this winter and you will co-ordinate throughout the season perfectly!
