The new YMC clothing collection is here! Sorry for my enthusiasm, but they are one of my favourite brands – Lots of lovely strategically eclectic pieces that are very wearable and uninfluenced by the seasonal whims of fashion trends. For me it is always a pleasure to see what YMC has to offer.
We have had loads of enquiries about these and after weeks of anticipation our Christine Bec hats have finally arrived. After the first red and black styles were so incredibly popular with everyone in the fashion world Oki-ni have released a repeat of the original shape with the addition of different coloured bands (navy in the red and yellow in the black). For summer they have also worked with Christine on creating two new exclusive colours – again this shape is exclusively available on Oki-ni and these bespoke hats are only available in very limited quantities – move fast and you can be as cool as all of us here!
YMC Clothing Collection
Formed in London in 1995 by Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins in response to increasing demand for stylish, funtional modern clothing, YMC has quietly grown to become a highly significant design label. When asked how he saw the future of design, graphic artist Raymond Lowey, pioneer of American Industrial Design reasoned that ‘you must create your own design style’ – it is this philosophy that inspires YMC.
YMC are not led or influenced by seasonal trends but try to provide the solution from intelligent clothing that is both wearable and distinctive. Collections gradually develop from season to season whilst a modernist approach ensures good ideas maintain longevity.

Christine Bec Exclusive Hats
Based in London’s Notting Hill Gate, Christine Bec is a company specialising in the design, development and
production of accessories and in particular milinery.
Along with the dedication required for bespoke projects, Christine Bec has evolved her craft over the past decade through twice yearly collections, positioning her at the cutting edge of all that is desirable in milinery. A Master in Anglo-American literature as well as time spent at Central St Martins whilst learning milinery has shaped her perspective and the influence of her native Provence is also present behind her aesthetic approach. Prior to her own label Christine worked for The English Opera, Nantes Opera and Ossie Clarke.
We have worked with Christine on the creation of our very own excluisve shape and colourways. We are the only retailer of this style and they are produced in very limited numbers. The last drop of these coveted hats sold out fast.
