Very recently I was kindly invited, along with Jacob and Ashley, to the launch of the Cocosa menswear collection. For those of you who are unsure as to who Cocosa are, I’ll brief you. Cocosa is an exclusive, invitation only, fashion website that offers designer clothing at members only prices. If you are like me, whilst browsing online (or reading Fashionbeans!) you will often see a truly beautiful premium designer piece that you REALLY WANT but cannot necessarily afford. However, it is opportunities of the kind that Cocosa provide that enable us to get our hands on those premium pieces for a much more respectable price.
The event took place in the elegant Inamo restaurant, on Wardour Street in Soho, London. We enjoyed fine dining, having the choice of a fantastic range of Japanese cuisine with an interesting cocktail menu. The tables were exciting too, with a completely interactive menu, ordering your food as you wanted it, even getting to watch the chefs cook the food in the kitchen via video. Personally it was some extraordinary seabass washed down with a martini, but we weren’t there just for the food. The event opened with Talk PR director Michelle Agyeman, who encouraged everyone to mingle and take some time to discuss the launch of the Cocosa menswear collection. That we certainly did.
It is an exciting time for Cocosa. Known for solely selling discounted designer womenswear, it has branched out – to our excitement – into discounted designer menswear. Having an excellent partner base already; with Nicole Farhi already featuring for two days only, the collections are certainly something to keep your eyes on. The premise behind it is that collections are available strictly for a limited time only, with more and more designers coming and going. It’s best to act fast and check back each day in order to avoid disappointment – as you can image there is limited stock levels and size ranges available at these prices! The thing I like about the Cocosa website is the feel of the online shopping experience being simple yet luxurious, and even though you are purchasing designer pieces, the prices do not equate.
The site has discounts of up to 80% off the original designer price, and features accessories and practical lifestyle items – suitable for the customer base of stylish professionals. The site uses very detailed images, giving the customer the detail required to make a decision on buying a product.
The list of confirmed Menswear brands for Cocosa are:
The designers will keep on coming and going, giving a fresh feel to the site which should hopefully allow everyone to find a brand or piece which appeals to their personal style. Here’s a look at some of the current and future collections available on site:
Joe’s Jeans: Live Now | Peter Jensen: Live Now | John Smedley: Live 29th November | Alexander McQueen: Live 1st December
