Following on from the success of the Adidas x Star Wars trainers, Adidas and the Star Wars film franchise have once again decided to collaborate for autumn/winter 2011, this time on a series of apparel inspired by one of their finest films to date; The Empire Strikes Back.

One item from the collection that caught our attention was the Adidas x Star Wars Green Flight Jacket. This military inspired piece drew its inspiration from the famous character Han Solo. The main reason we were drawn to it, is because it is bursting with details and features. It has ribbing detailing to the cuffs, waistband and collar – not only adding interest but also providing warmth and creating a fitted appearance. It also has press stud military style epaulettes to the shoulders, striking contrast orange lining, various front press stud pockets, as well as additional pockets to the left sleeve.

However, one of the most distinguishing features has to be the large print to the reverse with the words ‘Original Galactic Scoundrel’ and embroidered ‘Forever reckless and fool hardy’ on it – this piece is a must have for any die hard Star Wars fan.
