Coggles Autumn/Winter 2011 Street Style Campaign
Over the last two years Coggles have photographed over 1000 people for their Street Style section. Now for autumn/winter 2011, the clothing boutique has produced a series of short films following the lives of some of these people.
The short films feature both men and women and include:
- Valene – an Irish improv actress
- Olubiyi – a student
- Natasha – an aspiring tattoo artist.
The participants each got to style themselves from Coggles AW11 collections as well as incorporating pieces from their own personal collections. From there they then went on to work on developing a story and choosing a location for their film with Commercial Director Terry Hall.
Mark Bage, Coggles CEO said:
“We wanted to create a campaign that features real people, not models. We liked the idea of finding out more about these people while handing over creativity – the clothes they wear, the story they tell and where they tell it – almost entirely to them”
In addition to the digital video productions, Coggles have also released some stunning photography to accompany them – created using stills taken from the end of each film.
Due to the popularity of the campaign, Coggles are set to continue running this series throughout the season – asking more people from their Street Style section to appear and make their own ‘day in the life’ film.
