Comme des Garçons Play x Matt Groening

New in at End Clothing this week is the widely anticipated release from the PLAY line by Comme des Garçons. The collection everybody is waiting for this AW11 is a collaboration with none other than Matt Groening.

Some of you may be unfamiliar with the name but needless to say you should be familiar with Matt Groening’s work – he is the famous illustrator behind popular television shows such as The Simpsons and Futurama.

This collection continues with the casual and fun ethos that PLAY is known for, incorporating characters such as Blinky and Sheba from Matt Groening’s Life in Hell comic series (a series which pre-dated The Simpsons).

The majority of the collection sees Matt’s illustrations dominating the overall designs of the t-shirts, but they all still manage to incorporate the recognisable Comme des Garçons Heart logo.
