For fall 2011, Converse have really took advantage of the cold weather with the upcoming release of their Chuck Taylor All-Star Natarb Hi.
The collection comes in two colour ways – blue and white. Similar to many of the All Star styles, the All Star Natarb Hi is made up of a canvas upper and white vulcanized sole. But the rest of the design is where Converse got creative – incorporating contrasting coloured suede caps, coordinating rope style laces, and faux fur lining.
As you can see from the images, the unique selling point of these trainers is without a doubt the thick faux fur inner lining, which bursts out onto the ankle collar and down the front of the tongue – almost engulfing the laces.
Faux fur is set to be a massive menswear trend this autumn/winter, with it making an appearance on everything from coats to accessories and now trainers. It has also been acknowledged as one of the key textures you need in your wardrobe this year in our own comprehensive report.
These playful trainers are sure to keep your toes warm this season and make you stand out from the crowd all at the same time.
They are set to drop in November at selected stores.
