Crooked Tongues x New Balance Made In England 1500s
October 15th 2011 sees the release of the highly anticipated ‘Made in England’ collection – a collaboration from Crooked Tonuges and all time favourite trainer brand New Balance.
The 1500s are composed of a combination of mesh, leather and nubuck. The two colourways produced for the new collection were inspired by their first collaboration back in 2004 – models which included black/orange and white/lime colourways.
One pair of trainers is predominately made up of black and grey, with striking orange accents. Orange is of course set to be a key colour trend for this coming autumn/winter 2011. The other version consists of a white design with green and grey tones.
One quirky design feature which we love here at FashionBeans is that each pair of trainers is laced with a different coloured shoe lace – a neutral coloured lace and a bold contrasting colour lace. The orange colourway has black and orange laces, whilst the lime colourway is given a white and contrasting green lace set.
These trainers are available to buy from October 15th 2011 at Crooked Tongues and would certainly be a welcome addition to any serious collectors trainer collection.
