Dr Martens Sovereign Footwear Collection

For fall 2011 Dr. Martens have created a ‘Sovereign’ footwear collection. The collection consists of a range of sophisticated looking shoe and boots.

Key styles we have hand picked for you from the collection are:

• The Octavius Shoe – a classic derby style shoe.
• The Harry Shoe – penny loafer style.
• The Sawyer Boot – a derby style boot.

This is by far our favourite collection released by Dr. Martens to date, as the finish is premium quality, the footwear is tough and durable, and the styling is right on point for the slimmer and more refined silhouettes we are seeing across menswear as a whole. These are not your typical ‘clunky’ Dr. Martens boots or shoes.

The whole range is made from premium leathers and features fine upper stitching, Goodyear welt construction, waxed laces and a leather lining. One of our favourite finishing touches which features throughout the collection is the subtle black piping around the edge of the footwear – it just gives it that little something extra, and adds to the refined look Dr. Martens were quite obviously aiming to achieve.
