Belgian fashion designer Kris Van Assche has teamed up with American Bag and clothing manufacture Easkpak to release a collection of premium cotton bags for autumn/winter 2011. The collection features the classic shopper, bowling and messenger bags.
When browsing the collection the tan coloured messenger bag was the style that first caught our eye – complete with its canvas construction, luxurious leather trim and chrome detailing. The trim detailing not only shows great attention to detail but also helps provide the base with additional durability, which will help to prolong the life of the bag. (Plus let’s not forget that it also looks great!)
This messenger style bag manages to combine practicality and style into an ideal sized portable package. The bag has been designed with functionality in mind, with the central compartment having a detachable padded laptop sleeve – not only offering great protection but also giving you the option of carrying separately if required.
Other details include: Eastpak and Kris Van Assche branding, two front pockets, a press stud pocket to the back, zip pocket to store valuable items and decorative key chain to the shoulder strap. The contrasting shoulder strap is also removable, and once removed changes the whole aesthetic – creating more of a briefcase style bag.
All in all this bag is a versatile piece with so many useful features that will aid day to day life. Retailing at just £110, we suggest you head over to Oki-ni now to grab yourself one before they sell out.
