H&M Winter 2011 Campaign

For this coming autumn/winter campaign H&M has recruited models Mat Gordon and Jeremy Dufour to showcase the brands new collection.

The items utilised within the campaign look book give a great representation of some of the key trends of the season – including chunky cable knitwear, tweed, quilting, shearling and the timeless duffel coat.

The dark marbled back drop for the looks is a break away from the traditional white used by H&M but it allows the garments and the colours to really pop, grabbing the viewers attention whilst not allowing them to get distracted by anything other than the clothing itself.

Our favourite look has to be the beautiful bold blue quilted ‘puffa’ style jacket coordinated with the grey tweed trousers and thick knit scarf – a winning statement look endorsed by us all here at FashionBeans. However, the key item from the collection looks to be the shawl cable knit pullover, which combines two of this years key trends (shawl neck and cable knit) in one timeless statement piece. Throw this item on over shirts, tees or polo shirts this year for an effortless approach to smart-casual.
