Japanese designer Nigo and founder of Human Made has added a fall 2011 Trekking sneaker to his collection.
His latest inspiration was sourced from authentic US Army canvas training shoes dating back to the 1940s.
The sneaker itself is made from premium Japanese cotton canvas which is available in either beige or olive – both coming with thick high duty beige laces. The obvious design feature on these sneakers is of course the distinct thick brown rubber sole and duck style toe, which is a technique that has been prominent on many boot styles this season.
With the main body being constructed from soft canvas, it enables the user comfort and flexibility but by incorporating a thick rubber sole it also provides the user with all the durability and toughness you would expect from a regular boot.
The Human Made logo has been printed onto the outside of the left foot, with branding also being incorporated on to the back of the rubber heel.
