a rule that was playing on our minds when Danish brand, Humor, dropped their AW11 lookbook in our inbox this week.

The looks offered up by the young, casual brand are in a state of flux, by their own admission. The result of a utilitarian silhouette, besotted by the colourful, edgy designs of a 70’s tracksuit or the graphic prints of an 80’s advertising poster, is one that’s hard to pass up.

The book heavily features checks – from lined jackets to bellow pocket shirts – and Fair Isle knits – a sign of things to come – as well as returning to their signature drop crotch.
