Levi’s Vintage SS12 – Pre Collection
With Christmas still over a week away, companies such as Levi Vintage Clothing are already beginning to release their new spring/summer 2012 collections.
The new spring/summer Levi’s Vintage range aims to brighten up the current dreary winter mornings, whilst getting you excited for the warmer months to come. The pre-collection includes long sleeve t-shirts, shirts and knitwear pieces, which are all ideal for layering – allowing them to be utilised now during the winter season as part of a carefully constructed outfit.
The collection on the whole features a nice mix of pastel shades in creams, greens and blues – perfectly reflecting the lighter colour palettes associated with the spring/summer months.
One of our favourite pieces from the collection is the 1930s Shawl Collar Cardigan. As you should be aware by now, the shawl collar gives your clothing that subtle differential that will make it stand out, and it has been a popular wardrobe staple for the AW11 season (if you are not familiar you can check out Ben’s article on the shawl neck collar here). This cardigan offers you the ability to dress it up or down, and benefits from being constructed using the cable knit technique – which also happens to be one of the biggest texture trends of the season.
Details include toggle front fastenings, optional two button top fastening and 100% lambswool construction – helping to keep you warm until the summer months finally roll round.
Below we have picked a selection of our favourite pieces from the collection. To shop the full range head over to End Clothing.
