Forty years since being born out of Hawaii in the summer of 1971, American surf brand 'Lightning Bolt' is reintroducing itself with their summer 2011 collection.

For their 40th anniversary, the brand is reprising their philosophy that surfing, in its truest form, is a way of life rather than just another sport. The collection is defined by following the footsteps of their past and inspired by applying art and colour from their inaugural era to contemporary style.
