In time for the winter season, Marc Jacob releases the Buckled Boot from his latest autumn/winter 2011 collection. The inspiration for the boots design was drawn from soldier and explorer, Michael Burn, and his exploits through the mid twentieth century.

The Buckled Boot is a chunky hard wearing boot that somehow still manages to stay true to a classic boot silhouette. It is constructed using premium leather, which gives a smooth and luxurious finish, and is available in an eye-catching deep burgundy shade.

The boot features a moccasin toe, thick rubber sole, harmonious coloured laces and stitch detailing around the main body of the boot as well as around the sole. This style is then finished off with an unmissable buckled strap that is constructed from tan coloured leather. It is this buckle detailing that really allows these boots to stand out from the crowd – whilst simultaneously being a great example of how to coordinate contrast coloured leathers successfully within your outfit.
