Nike is forever releasing re-invented/re-vamped editions of their classic designs, and it is apparent again this autumn/winter 11 with the release of the Nike Air Royal Mid Knit Hi-Top – a modified version of the Basketball classic Nike Air Royal Mid.

This edition fits into the fall season appropriately through its choice of materials, as Nike have constructed these trainers with a combination of both suede and knit textile. The knit textile is used to construct the main part of the body, with suede being incorporated into the overlay sections as well as the recognisable Nike swoosh logo.

The trainer comes in two colour ways: black and grey – with both featuring a white outer sole and harmonising coloured laces.

The use of the knit textile is perfectly in keeping with the current season, as it adds key texture and depth to your looks, whilst also being the basis of many other key cold month staples such as knitwear and scarves. Why not incorporate it onto your footwear as well?
