Following on from the success of their first Aztec design on the Air Max 1, Nike are set to release another Aztec edition to the pack in the form of the ever popular Nike Blazer.
Both the mid and low Nike Blazer have been given the Aztec treatment for this coming season. The mid comes in two colour ways, black or earthy brown tones (our favourite of the two here at FashionBeans).
The new Blazer mid differs from the previous Air Max 1 Aztec through greater utilisation of the print. This time the dynamic patterned textile predominantly covers the main body of the trainer instead of just a small accent area, making the print much more noticeable.
Features of the mid include: all over Aztec print, leather trim on lace plates as well as the recognisable Nike ‘swoosh’, suede heel tab (again with branding), white soles and bright white laces which contrast beautifully against the dark statement print. The low model features many of the same traits but also has a leather toe cap.
The Aztec and Navajo print trends have fully infiltrated the high street this year, and with upcoming releases – such as these trainers and the Filson Black Label Fisherman Parka we introduced you to last week – incorporating the print as well, it looks as though tribal inspired patterns are here to stay for the foreseeable future.
These statement trainers are a must have for any true collector, or fashionable males who want to stand out from the crowd.
No date for release has been confirmed yet but keep checking back, because we will keep you bang up-to-date right here on FashionBeans.
