Oliver Spencer A/W11 Glove Collection
With Oliver Spencer’s latest glove collection being released, it only confirms to us that winter is officially here and the inevitable cold weather seasons are upon us.
The new collection includes three different styles and designs to choose from:
- The Sheepskin Glove.
- The Biking Glove.
- The Oli’s Glove.
The Biking Glove is a full fingered knitted version that was actually designed with cyclists in mind, and follows the most common glove silhouette. It is available in three colour ways – navy, green and grey – all featuring a contrasting suede patch on the palm, making them more durable.
Once again keeping cyclists in mind, Oliver Spencer has designed the Oli’s Glove. This is again constructed from a knitted wool but this edition is fingerless. It does however benefit from a fold over mitten type flap for when the weather is bitterly cold and you need the added protection of a full fingered glove – with the flexibility to wear them either way when needed (iPhone touch screen anyone?). Similar to the Biking glove these also included a contrasting suede patch on the palm, and come in just two colour variations – charcoal and green.
Finally, our favourite here at FashionBeans is the Sheepskin Glove – so much so that we will definitely be investing in a pair this season. As you can guess by the very nature of its name it has been constructed from sheepskin for the upper part with a contrasting coloured leather palm – allowing the user more flexibility due to the gloves not being so stiff and restricting. They come in a striking green and tan colour way or a more subtle navy and brown.
