Oliver Spencer Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook
British menswear designer Oliver Spencer goes futuristic with his latest lookbook for spring/summer 2012.
The innovative lookbook is modelled by Dan Felton and sees the collection being shot with a camera effect that blurs the images – creating a slightly out of focus series of shots. This is a daring move from the fashion designer, as by using this effect some might say that it detracts from the main purpose of the lookbook – which is to showcase your collection of clothing to its fullest.
However, here at the FashionBeans office we think it really sets this lookbook apart from the many others that have recently been released; it’s always refreshing to see new modernised takes and brands pushing boundaries in order to produce a stand out lookbook.
The collection itself features a wide mix of looks – from casual tees and chinos, to smarter double breasted blazers and shirts – with a colour palette that is quite clearly drawing its inspiration from nautical influences. Many items from the collection are available in your typical white, red, and blue shades – ideal for the spring/summer seasons.
