This season, Penfield has teamed up with family run business Jamieson’s – who have been producing wool for many generations, from sheep native to the Shetland Islands.
This limited edition collection includes a 60/40 down jacket and a 60/40 down gilet.
The Gillman jacket (our favourite from the series) has been constructed from a 60/40 cotton nylon outer, with added insulation in the form of a 80/20 down filled stuffing – this ratio is guaranteed to ensure that warmth actually stays in this winter!
The obvious stand out feature on this jacket is the striking woven Fair Isle detailing that decorates both the shoulder yolk and the front hand warmer pockets. Some might say the Navajo pattern has been over used in the last few seasons but with bold playful designs like this being released, it gives a refreshing new take on the trend.
The jacket is available in navy and also features: hard wearing copper snap fastening that provides you with extra protection against the elements, leather trimmed piped cuffs, small branding to the lower left side and an inside chest pocket.
