Following the success of his spring/summer 2011 capsule collection, British music and fashion legend Paul Weller has once again collaborated with Pretty Green to create his second capsule collection for autumn/winter 2011.
The collection incorporates a wide selection of garments – from knitwear and outerwear, to suits and t-shirts. The colour palette running throughout the range consists predominantly of subtle autumnal colours such as green, brown, grey, navy and black.
Every single piece was designed entirely by Paul himself, taking specific inspiration from the 60s and 70s – aiming to reflect his own personal style and taste in clothing. Classic and elegant are words that could sum up the new Paul Weller collection, making it perfect for mixing and matching in order to create a capsule wardrobe.
“I enjoyed designing my first capsule collection for Pretty Green and wanted to continue the collaboration by designing a larger range and taking in tailoring, coats, shoes, knitwear and jerseywear that will last from now through til Spring next year.”
One of our favourite pieces here at FashionBeans is the beautifully tailored 3 piece double breasted wool suit. Double breasted suits and blazers have been utilised all over the runways and high street this season – becoming a key trend for this AW11 and a classic ‘must have’ for any refined males wardrobe.
