For the autumn/winter 2011 season, UK fashion brand Reiss have released a menswear lookbook dedicated to tailoring.
The lookbook shows extremely wearable tailored pieces – creating a variety of outfits that range from sharp sophisticated work looks to the more casual evening wear. The lookbook is designed to show customers that these tailored garments are extremely versatile items that can be dressed up or down, and by mixing and matching key pieces you can still get that strong striking appearance we all desire.
The lookbook features two button blazers, three piece suits and the season’s must have double breasted suit. All of these have been excellently executed with the inclusion of key accessories such as bags, gloves, scarves or headwear. If you are looking for more ways to utilise a double breasted blazer this season, then check out our very own Alex Woodhall’s article on double breasted tailoring.
One of our favourite looks here at FashionBeans incorporates the amazing tweed suit, which has been dressed down with the use of a plain fine gauge knit and gloves. Not only does this particular piece fit in with one of the key texture trends this fall, but it also offers great versatility; dressing it up with the use of a pocket square and smart boots or dressing down by losing the blazer and subbing in a leather jacket.
