The Van Vault series sees Vans pull designs from their vault and release contemporary re-invented styles based upon classics silhouettes using luxurious materials.
Each season Vans draws its inspiration from diverse sources such as street fashion, music and art (to name but a few) to give each collection an up-to-date and unique twist. With the new season collection recently released, the styles that stood out to us here at FashionBeans were the Vans Cuerpo LX and the Vans Era 46 LX Vintage.
The Vans Vault Cuerpo LX caught our attention due to its simple and clean design; its style is not dissimilar to the current 106 styles. However, with this re-worked classic the difference comes from the premium materials that have been incorporated. This model uses a premium leather upper, with subtle tan welt detailing around the top of the Vans waffle sole, as well as an addition of a heel pull. Lined with a houndstooth tweed fabric, this particular style is available in three colour ways of black, cream and brown.
The Era 46 LX Vintage stood out because we love the popular Vans Era style anyway and the silhouette has been reworked to mimic that iconic shape. The Era 46 LX Vintage comes in one eye-catching colour way – consisting of a premium black leather upper offset with striking yellow accents incorporated into the heel, sole, and laces. This model also utilises the recognisable Vans waffle sole but this time a slightly off white colour has been introduced to give a more aged appearance to the trainer.
These luxurious designs retail at around £85 which in our opinion is a bargain for such a unique and well crafted piece of footwear. They are however limited edition with a limited number of units being produced, so to avoid disappointment head over to Oki-ni or endclothing to shop the collection now.
