Kuttara Espadrille
Putting their own spin on a classic men’s summer shoe, high street retailer AllSaints have released the Kuttara Espadrille ready for the spring/summer 2012 season.
A slightly smarter, more substantial take on the typical espadrille silhouette, the Kuttara is somewhat of a hybrid between the classic espadrille and a plimsoll style trainer.
Its washed cotton canvas body features detailing that is more commonly associated with plimsoll styles rather than that of an espadrille – such as the lace up front fastening and stitch detailing. However, the traditional woven style sole is also present within the design, and this immediately alters the whole overall aesthetic.
Coming in a natural shade (or as it’s otherwise known as over at AllSaints HQ, ‘cement’), the combination of colour and material gives these espadrilles the washed, somewhat vintage aesthetic the brand are renowned for.
Due to the lightweight cotton canvas construction, it means that they are comfortable for extended use and will allow your feet to breathe during the warmer summer seasons – they really are a no brainer when it comes to casual footwear this SS12.
Available now over on the AllSaints website.
