Following on from last week’s feature article detailing the upcoming spring/summer 2012 camouflage print trend, we thought it was only fitting to showcase the latest piece of camouflage apparel we stumbled across – with a look at the Spurr Hardy Blazer from high street favourite AllSaints.
There seems to be an influx of camouflage on the market at present, with the masculine print being incorporated on everything from apparel to footwear and accessories. With this in mind, it came as no big surprise that AllSaints jumped on board, with the release of this all-over camouflage print blazer.
Although the team here at FashionBeans were not totally convinced by this print initially, with releases like this we can see exactly why it can work in the right sort of outfit. Camo is no longer confined to unimaginative camo shorts or combats – there are many more sartorially acceptable ways to integrate it into your looks this year and really standout from the crowd. This deconstructed blazer would make the perfect statement piece this spring, with its tailored fit giving the jacket a sharp aesthetic – whilst blending colour, fit and print brilliantly.
Other details include: Single breasted, military pocket details, working cuffs, unlined finish and AllSaints branded buttons.
The key for pulling off any print is to pair with neutrals. Keep the rest of your outfit simple and allow the statement piece to do all the talking for you.
Love it or hate it, camouflage is set to stick around this season. So why not try expanding your horizons and incorporating a piece such as this into your wardrobe?
