Anthem Independent Boutique
If you like your wardrobe to be full of unique and exclusive items, then Anthem is the store for you. Located on Calvert Avenue, London the independent boutique strives to offer creative and individual menswear style. Former menswear buyer for Liberty, Simon Spiteri, and his business partner, Jeremy Baron, are responsible for creating a store that oozes individuality and imagination.
Be prepared to be inspired by designers such as Comme des Garcon, Oliver Spencer and Marni, as Anthem is constantly on the lookout for innovative talent. Their aim is to discover vintage special pieces combined with essential basic items. The store is a place to find excellent quality garments that will last forever.
Using local artisans and sources creates a rustic and natural environment to shop in. Exposed stonework, distressed wood and sanded floors are chosen for the interior design of the boutique. The garments are displayed on metal hooks showing their interpretation of how to style the items within the boutique. Clothes are suspended from rope tied to a piece of wood, which acts as a shop clothing rail. Triangular metal framework transforms into a shop fixture where garments are carefully displayed. Anthem has certainly taken time to design a visually pleasing layout to entice dedicated fashion lovers.
Anthem is a store that wants to encourage and inspire men to wear one of pieces that they cannot find anywhere else. Their goal is to allow men to be imaginative with their style and not be afraid to express a new look. By combining an exciting store layout with exclusive designer menswear I think that they achieve this effortlessly.
