Aqua by Aqua New Season Graphic Tees
Aqua by Aqua have just released a new batch of graphic tees ready for spring. For those unfamiliar with the brand, they have recently made the move to London from Leeds, with their menswear range located in Soho’s Beak Street. Their aim is to provide directional clothing at low prices, bringing East London vibes to the high street.
Previous key pieces included chain print jackets and joggers, which have been featured in both i-D and Dazed & Confused. The brand has already conquered both cities with their womenswear – now it is the turn for their impressive menswear collections.
The tees are the first drop from the new spring menswear range and come reasonable priced – at £40 to £45, they are in the same bracket as brands like AllSaints. The Aqua by Aqua trademark triangle logo comes inverted on white, black and blue backgrounds, as well as mottled pastel pink and blue – all of which will lighten up any summer wardrobe.
Abstract graphic print placement comes in bright greens, blues, yellows and pinks, creating a fresh colour palette for the new season. Other abstract digital printed tees feature distorted and psychedelic graphics in a monochrome palette on clean white backgrounds. One of my favourites is the ‘Paige’ tee, which features a vintage erotic print stamped with the brand’s triangle logo. Kinky.
Aqua by Aqua are going from strength to strength and they are one to watch for 2012. All products are available worldwide at Aqua by Aqua. Alternatively, pop into the London or Leeds stores in order to see the full range.
