Affordable and ethical menswear is few and far between. Eco-friendly British fashion duo Lucie Wood and Marie France are helping change that with their brand; Art Disco. Established in 2009, it has since developed from a humble t-shirt retailer to a recognised design house. The girls’ niche is being able to transform a plain white tee into a monochromatic – sometimes 3D – work of art.

As someone who frequently goes in search of ethical fashion, whilst making sure it doesn’t make me look fresh out of Woodstock, I can safely say I was not disappointed when I stumbled across these guys in the ASOS marketplace. They combine quirky designs with sheer simplicity and have given birth to something that looks familiar yet still makes me want to buy it.

Taking international inspiration, the designs feature African Aztec prints, the American flag and images of Pharaohs, all of which retail no higher than £45. Take that Stella.
