Ever since Ryan Gosling wore that jacket, said a few words and then nearly died in the impossibly cool blockbuster movie Drive, it seems every man has been pining to find their own perfect bomber style jacket. Well, look no further than Ben Sherman’s rather classy Cramerton Harrington.
Perfect for layering up for when the cold weather strikes (because this is the UK), or as that versatile transitional piece we all need as we approach spring, you won’t go far wrong in choosing this tasty zip-up.
Designed and crafted in England using 8.8oz Cramerton cloth, this jacket aims to provides ‘unrivalled comfort and durability’. Given the history of the super fabric it is constructed from, it is hard to doubt that. The Cramerton fabric was developed specifically for the US Army and even today it is still being proudly woven in the USA.
So how does this jacket tie in with Ben Sherman’s MOD roots?
Well, it certainly does give off the impression of being a quintessentially British jacket; finished with corozo nut buttons and cord elbow patches, this jacket can adapt to both casual and formal events due to its clean, sharp lines and minimal detailing.
Coming in a ‘Vintage Rock’ colour way, Ben Sherman has firmly stamped their mark on the jacket with a Union Jack inspired red, white and blue chequered neck lining.
You’ll have to get on your MOD scooters sharpish if you want one of these Cramerton Harringtons though as only 400 of them have been made.
They can be purchased exclusively at your nearest Ben Sherman store or by visiting BenSherman.com.
