Christopher Kane Oki-ni Site Takeover
A couple of week’s ago we previewed the latest Christopher Kane SS12 clothing collection to you – and now to coincide with MAN day at LFW, Christopher Kane has taken over online retailer Oki-ni.
The take over has allowed the designer to take full control of the website – from a change in logo, a new landing page background inspired by his SS12 collection and a series of newly developed content revolving around the designer.
As part of the series dedicated to the designer, features that have been included are a STYLED by shoot (STYLED by Tony Irvine for Christopher Kane), an interview with the designer and a chance to listen to a soundtracks from Love Triangle – who have been producing the soundtracks for the designer’s shows since 2008.
Our favourite feature has to be the STYLED by shoot (which can be seen below), as it gives customers a chance to see the designer’s collection in a completely different light. By producing a number of quirky yet inspiring looks, it just goes to show how bold graphic/printed pieces can easily be neutralised and anchored in order to produce wearable outfits.
Check out the full feature and read the Christopher Kane interview over on the Oki-ni website.
