In today’s fashion climate, everything is immediately accessible to the masses within seconds of its occurrence – whether that be a fashion show, a new collection or a campaign shot. With this immediacy and saturation in the market, naturally consumers and press will find it easy to skip over that which they have seen before, instead needing newness and variety to capture their attention.

One way designers have been overcoming this recently is through collaborations. Everyone has seen the success of H&M’s recent designer collaborations, and their latest to be announced with super-brand Maison Martin Margiela is already massively hyped. With that in mind, Comme Des Garcons have just released their latest collaboration, with the popular children’s books ‘Where’s Wally’ (or ‘Where’s Waldo’ for our American readers).

Yes, you read correctly – Japanese brand Comme Des Garcons have created a small range of pieces using images from the iconic series of books, which is available exclusively at London’s Dover Street Market. Included in this limited edition collection is a men’s and women’s t-shirt, and a unisex scarf.

However, only 17 of each have been made – making these extremely limited, and could be as hard to find as Wally himself once they sell out! The men’s t shirt is a long-sleeved baseball style, with red contrast sleeves, complete with a Where’s Wally scene printed on the body. Priced at £165, the tee is not cheap but could be a priceless purchase for hardcore Comme or Wally fans.
