Converse 2012 Spring Black Canvas Apparel Collection

Converse has announced the launch of their spring 2012 Black Canvas Premium Apparel Collection. The new premium menswear range is not due for release until February, but Converse wanted to give you a taster of what you can expect via an accompanying lookbook (shown below).

Converse states that Black Canvas “represents a new breed of individuality, self expression and elevated style.” The range aims to fuse the brand’s signature rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic with its sportswear heritage.

The collection takes the warmer spring/summer season into consideration by utilising a plethora of lightweight and breathable fabrics for the construction of the garments.

Throughout the range Converse have used various different design styles, material techniques and textures – such as faded denim, twisted yarns and coated canvas – to create some truly distinctive clothing.

Key pieces from the collection come in the form of lightweight cotton Henley’s – ideal for layering, with our typically unpredictable weather changes – shorts, slim fit cargo trousers and striking plaid patterned garments.

Keep an eye out for the collection, which will be in select retailers as well as online from February 1st 2012.
