Converse John Varvatos Printed Chuck Taylor Sneakers
A limited edition collaborative effort between Converse and John Varvatos sees a much subtler approach to the (ever controversial) camouflage trend – with the designer incorporating the masculine print onto the classic Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette.
This trainers’ design is ideal for those of you that fancy rocking the camouflage trend but are cautious about the preconceptions and drawing too much unwanted attention to yourself. The camouflage print incorporated on this model is very restrained and faint in comparison to some of the bolder pieces available at the moment.
Aside from the obvious camo print, another unique feature comes in the form of the inventive front fastening system. Multi-sized eyelets have been integrated in an unusual yet unique placement, which are then laced with elasticated black laces.
Benefiting from having already undergone the pre-aged, ‘worn in’ process – it means you needn’t ever worry about scuffing them up.
These trainers have been produced in extremely limited numbers. Seeing as camo print is set to dominate men’s fashion this SS12, we can’t see how these will be around for long! To grab yourself a pair, head over to Mr.Porter now to avoid disappointment.
