Converse Yellow Canvas Chuck Taylor Plimsolls
Unless you’ve been living under a rock this season, you should be well aware that the colour yellow has fast become a major colour trend for spring/summer 2012 – dominating high street collections and runways alike.
But just in case you have missed it, you can catch our breakdown of the trend and how to incorporate this daring shade here.
With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that footwear giants Converse have jumped on the bandwagon, incorporating the bold, uplifting hue onto one of their most iconic silhouettes: the Chuck Taylor. Genius!
By utilising the adventurous hue on a classic style, it gives the plimsoll a new lease of life for SS12, providing loyal Converse fans the perfect on-trend statement piece.
As with the majority of Chuck Taylor styles, the plimsoll comes complete with white laces, a canvas upper, white rubber toe cap, branding to the tongue and heel, and the distinct white rubber sole with black stripe.
Retailing at £40 over on my-wardrobe, we feel the pricing is extremely reasonable for the must have summer hue.
