Before you say it – we know we shouldn’t be looking at autumn/winter footwear. We haven’t even experienced the summer season yet, but when we stumbled across these Firenze Boots we were helplessly drawn to them.
These striking boots are the creation of Italian brand Diemme. It wasn’t one particular factor that suckered us in, it was a combination of all the elements that went into the design – from silhouette and colour combination to the well considered textural effect caused by the mix of materials.
We wouldn’t of expected anything less from Diemme, who are renowned for being one of the leading names in their field. They produce handmade trekking, military and hunting footwear that is defined by their surroundings of the mountainous Montebelluna district of Italy.
Priding themselves on extensive attention to detail, the quality and craftsmanship which has gone into the production of these boots is clear from the offset.
The lower bottom section has been constructed from Itailan Vesuvio suede, with a felt textile utilised for the upper body. The difference in textures is enhanced further through the use of colour, chocolate brown and grey respectively, which allows each section to stand out on its own accord.
Sitting upon a thick white vibram sole, these boots have been built to last. With the addition of a padded ankle, it goes to show that even the smallest details have not been neglected by the brand – making these boots both durable and comfortable.
