Finding a coat that is bang on trend AND works perfectly within your casual looks is not easy, but Diesel have you covered this season with their new navy trench coat. You may be lazing around at the weekend in only your jeans and t-shirt, but throw on this superb piece of outerwear and you’ll transform the look from hangover tragedy to casual chic. (Just remember to put shoes on as well, or you’ll just look like an idiot.)
The trench is double breasted, which is another key fashion trend for men this winter; as is the heritage inspiration, which is clearly showcased through the design, classic collar and button fastening.
Despite being belted, the coat has a slightly relaxed fit, and is currently available in medium sizing and up. The navy colouring means it is ideally suited to casual looks, but could easily be paired with formal grey, camel or alternative hue suiting (just steer clear of black).
The garment is crafted from 100% cotton and is cropped to just above the knee, making it the perfect transitional coat and a worthy year round addition to any modern wardrobe [see our guides on how to wear in autumn/winter & spring/summer]. As a word of warning, the coat is not waterproof.
The Diesel Trench Coat is available to purchase from the House of Fraser website for £280.
