After recently unveiling the third bottle design in the Limited Collection – a tattoo inspired Diet Coke bottle showcasing the designer’s passion for body art – Gaultier has chosen to expand his medium to include metal, launching the ‘Night & Day’ designs onto Coke Cans.
This is the first time in the brand’s history that a design collaboration has been translated on to 330ml cans and sold in leading retailers – making these unique Coke cans instantly iconic.
Utilising the same graphics as the bottles, the collection is made up of two distinct designs, with Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic corset and cone bra design featured upon the ‘Night’ can, and the less provocative nautical blue and white Breton stripe motif having been incorporated onto the ‘Day’ can.
The cans will be made available across Europe at select retailers from July – September 2012, meaning that everyone can now get their daily fashion fix in one way or another.
