Elton John AIDS Foundation x SUPER Sunglasses

Sparking a massive eyewear trend back in 2007 with the release of their first acetate colour sunglasses, Italian brand SUPER look set to continue with their current success – their latest collaboration coming in association with the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation was established back in 1993 and has already raised over £40 million to help the fight against AIDS.

This limited run of sunglasses will be sold exclusively at the annual EJAF White & Tiara Ball auction (which is held amongst thirty-seven acres of English countryside next to the Windsor castle) in June 2012.

The glasses themselves feature Zeiss lenses and are, of course, hand made in Italy – ensuring the utmost attention to detail and superb levels of craftsmanship. The integrated Ziess lenses are somewhat of a trademark of SUPER sunglasses, and are used because they offer extremely high levels of protection to the eyes in all conditions.

Other details include: A layer of the finest Italian white leather covering the frame, matte silver arms and signature branding to the inside arm.

With all money raised going to such a well deserving cause, this is one collaboration which definitely gets the FashionBeans seal of approval!
