New in at Liberty London this week is the Bobby Stitch Button Up Cardigan from British brand Folk.
Made up from a mixture of fabrics to ensure the utmost warmth and comfort, it has been constructed using lambswool, angora and nylon. This cardigan has been produced by a method called bobby stitch (consequently resulting in the name), which helps create a bobbled, textured style aesthetic.
This cardigan features a wide array of detailing, such as: a funnel neck that can be folded down to add variety as well as a uniqueness to your look, corozo nut button front fastening, Folk detailing to buttons and ribbed cuffs & hem.
However, by far our favourite feature – and essentially what made this cardigan stand out for us here at FashionBeans – are the two front pouch pockets with their removable tan leather strap enclosure. The innovative design allows the pockets to become somewhat of a focal point, not only due to the leather straps but also because of the style of the pockets – they don’t blend effortlessly into the design but through the stitch detailing they appear slightly raised.
