These beautifully crafted William Brogues landed on our desk this week, courtesy of the hugely popular British boot makers; Grenson.
We expect that the majority of you are already familiar with the brand and their 120 years experience within the business, supplying men across the world with some of the finest quality footwear – so we won’t harp on too much about the brand’s wonderful heritage and ethos.
These particular brogues feature the traditional detailing you would expect from the classic silhouette: obvious brogue perforation detail, Oxford style lace up fastening and brown welt sole. However, it was their soft grey tone that set these shoes apart – and immediately caught the eye of the guys here in the FashionBeans office.
The soft grey hue is ideal for the spring/summer 2012 season; fitting in well with the pastel trend that is set to dominate menswear. Benefiting from premium suede construction, these brogues offer superb versatility – enabling you to dress them up or down to suit the occasion. This is shoe that will allow you to go from day to night, as well as from work to the bar, with effortless ease.
A word of warning. If you do buy these stunning brogues, give them the proper care they deserve to keep them looking pristine! For tips on how to keep your suede footwear looking the best it possibly can, check out Will Coleman’s Suede Footwear Care Guide.
