Joe Casely-Hayford for John Lewis SS12 Collection
Since its debut collection back in 2010, acclaimed British designer Joe Casely-Hayford’s exclusive range for upmarket department store John Lewis has gone from strength to strength, resulting in the 5th instalment being released to stores this month.
The collection aims to provide the modern gentleman with the finest quality and attention to detail. Together they have produced a range of classic pieces that takes Joe Casely-Hayford’s Savile Row background into consideration via the superbly cut silhouettes.
Following on from previous collections, Joe Casely-Hayford continues to celebrate home grown British manufacturing by teaming up with one of the longest serving manufacturers of premium outerwear in the UK; Cooper & Stollbrand.
The range consists of a variety of classic garments, which any modern man should have in his capsule wardrobe. It includes everything from tailored trousers and shorts to outerwear and blazers, as well as essential shirting, tees and knitwear – all of which will be easily integrated into your existing wardrobe.
“With a more relaxed attitude this season, jackets are cut with less structure, shoulders are softer, body shapes are slightly looser, and our tailored jackets have been constructed with lightweight materials – creating the ideal weekend wardrobe. The collection has been coordinated with the feeling of an international Englishman in mind and as always, the pieces are simple but never basic.”
As you can see from the lookbook below, many of the outfits are timeless in nature. Investing in pieces from this collection will take you from season to season effortlessly.
Here at FashionBeans we are very excited about this new collection. It brings a sense of elegance and refinement to the high street, allowing you to pick up Savile Row inspired tailoring from an expert but without the Savile Row price tag!
