Kent & Curwen Autumn/Winter 2011/12 Lookbook
English brand Kent & Curwen have released their latest lookbook for autuwn/winter 2011/12. Modelled by Owen Stewart and Will Chalker, the lookbook amplifies the elegant and smart aesthetic that Kent & Curwen are renowned for.
The lookbook represents a nice mix of both smart and relaxed wear, incorporating gentlemanly suiting and tailoring with more casual sportswear looks.
The collection utilises a variety of different cuts and styles, as well as a plethora of material choices – many items fitting in perfectly with the current heritage and texture trends.
For the more casual (but still refined) looks, the styling has steered away from suits and blazers, instead favouring smart casual items such as: trousers, outerwear, shirts and knitwear. The key knitwear comes in the form of v-neck cricket style jumpers – one of Kent & Curwen’s most famous pieces that was first produced back in 1932 after drawing inspiration from the English gentries love of the game.
For those looking for a more relaxed weekend aesthetic, the lookbook also features dressed down looks comprised of more rugged outerwear pieces, long sleeved polo shirts and jeans.
