Re-working their original 1955 sawtooth denim work shirt, Levis Vintage have modified the design to produce a garment that is more in line with the current market.
The innovative design sees the 7oz denim used to construct the original shirt undergo major distressing as well as a highly faded wash. To give this piece a truly unique twist (and not just become a simple rendition) the sleeves have been customised, with the lower half of the sleeves being constructed from dark indigo washed denim.
Other details include: Mother of pearl snap closure buttons, saw tooth pockets and original western wear neck label.
If we are being completely honest, the guys in the office are not completely sold on this distinctive design. However, we all recognise that in the current market denim and chambray shirts have become commonplace, and it makes a refreshing change to see such unique interpretation on the ever popular garment.
