LN-CC SS12 Lookbook
Following on from the success of their AW11 men’s style features, London boutique LN-CC have decided to release their first lookbook for the upcoming spring/summer 2012 season.
The lookbook continues in the same vein as the AW11 series, with each outfit being shot against a plain background. We admire this minimalistic approach, because the focus remains on the garments themselves, rather than the intricate photography techniques.
The two clothing collections that have been used for the shoot come from well known designer brands; Dries Van Noten and Ann Demeulemeester.
The series utilises a wide selection of Dries Van Noten’s new spring/summer clothing range, which is paired with Ann Demeulemeester’s innovative new footwear range. (Get the FashionBeans verdict on Ann Demeulemeester’s footwear here)
The casual looks’ predominant focus is on layering. Numerous items are layered over each other to create individually unique and dynamic looks, showing you that each piece is capable of being used independently or as part of an ensemble – therefore, perfect for integrating within your existing wardrobe. Layering has always been a great way of injecting or mixing colours, with the outfits in the lookbook beautifully incorporating rich shades of burgundy and blue with more subtle muted tones of grey, beige and navy.
Some of our favourite items from the collection come in the form of the loosely woven linen blend yarns, which have been used to form knitwear pieces such as jumpers and cardigans – helping create a relaxed and casual silhouette that appears effortless.
